Ronald McDonald House Charities
The members of Alpha Delta Pi here at the University of Montevallo hold philanthropy very close to our hearts. Our chapter is so lucky to work with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and we are proud to be making a difference in the lives of many.
WHAT IS OUR PHILANTHROPY?
Alpha Delta Pi adopted the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) as its national philanthropy in 1979. Ronald McDonald Houses are located worldwide and provide a “home away from home” for families who have sick children in the hospital. In addition to donating money to this worthwhile cause, many Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapters and alumnae associations spend their time and energy volunteering at these houses.
OUR PHILANTHROPY EVENTS
Alpha Delta Pi hosts two different philanthropy events to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Last fall we hosted the Alphie Cup! The Alphie Cup featured games such as the Violet Toss and Tug of Roar. Last spring we hosted ADPidol, where members from sororities and fraternities compete in a singing competition.
